As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be responsible for identifying and developing prospective customers and for their maintenance and support. This includes support and growth of existing ARC accounts. As a BDM at ARC Group you will work collaboratively across the ARC sales, engineering, production, new product development teams and Customer Support groups. This position primarily supports our Firestone, CO facility but also includes our facilities in Florida and Hungary. The position will be located in our Colorado Facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating and executing a sales plan that drives against corporate sales objectives.
  • Developing, building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing Aerospace customers, key decision makers and critical customer teams (engineering, purchasing, product management, finance, etc.)
  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients to maintain and grow relationships and expand business opportunities.
  • Targeting new customer opportunities and expanding key vertical industry categories.
  • Securing new project opportunities and receiving confirmed sales orders - Work closely with new product development managers and facilitate communication between customers and ARC teams (program managers, engineers and material experts) to help ensure smooth relationships and program progress.
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled sales meetings and prepare regular sales status reports of ongoing business activities.
  • Works to develop competitive quotes with production, finance and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support Team to fully support customer programs, purchase orders and unique customer needs/requests.
  • Assists in the development of short and long range sales forecasts.

Job Description: ARC Colorado is looking for a highly skilled and detail oriented Cost Accountant to join our team in the Firestone, CO area.

The Cost Accountant will be directly responsible for the ARC Colorado perpetual Inventory and Cost Systems. This is a Mid-level position performing various accounting and financial reporting functions as described below. Applicants with experience in a Manufacturing environment are preferred.

Job Description: This is a position for molding and/or secondary operations. Performs duties required in metal/plastic injection molding and/or secondary operations. Produces and inspects parts to be shipped to the customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge and skills to perform the tasks required in the production of metal/plastic parts.
  • Visually inspect or use measuring devices to ensure all parts meet customer specifications and quality criteria.
  • Learns and applies material handling procedures.
  • Learns and applies finishing processes required.
  • Completes and maintains documentation on parts neatly and accurately.

Job Description: This is a skilled level molding set up technician job requiring demonstrated skills in molding operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Sets-up molding machines for initial run of any part including automation or other required equipment.
  • Provides technical direction to molding machine operators.
  • Ensures each machine is cleaned between changeover of materials and molds.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures while inserting molds and conducting general machine set-up.
  • Ensures molding machines are producing parts as specified in work instructions, and all process documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Performs troubleshooting as needed, per established procedures.
  • Ability to post end of shift productivity into ERP system.

Job Description: The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, Monthly / Quarterly financial reporting, manufacturing variance reporting, year-end audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities. The Accounting Manager will have contact with business and operational lead team which requires strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.

Essential Duties:
  • Ensure general ledger and financial statements are complete and accurate.
  • Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing functions.
  • Manage month end and year end accounting closing processes.
  • Ensures month end, quarterly and fiscal year end deadlines are met.
  • Ensures financial statements are accurately stated before closing the accounting period.
  • Ensure completion of self-assessment testing requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Reviews blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining.
  • Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig bores, grinders, and shapers.

Job Description: This position is responsible for setting up and adjusting molding machines as necessary. Troubleshoots injection molding machine start-up, robotics, and vision systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Set-ups molding machines for initial run of any part including robotics and vision systems.
  • Provides technical recommendations, advice, and/or guidance to mold machine operators.
  • Ensures each machine is cleaned between jobs or changeover of materials and molds.
  • Inserts molds and conducts general machine set-up adhering to all pre-established safety procedures.
  • Ensures molding machines are producing parts as specified in the parameters.
  • Documents daily molding events in the technician log.
  • Prepares documentation for production runs.
  • Evaluates and approves First Piece from production runs.
  • Documents and reports mold and equipment related problems.
  • Conducts a minimum of two quality checks on parts per shift.
  • Maintains feedstock inventory to the planning department.
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.
  • Maintains clean grinders, hoppers and loaders during changeovers.
  • Interfaces with engineering, tool room, and quality assurance regarding parts, end of arm tools and feedstock respectively.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of various measuring tools and equipment including:
    • Micrometers
    • Pyrometers
    • Calipers
  • Ability to be flexible, working outside of normally scheduled hours to complete work as needed

  • Strong mechanical skills
  • Knowledge and ability to work with mechanical hand tools
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Education, Experience & Training:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in molding processes.

  • Ability to push, pull, bend, crawl, reach, kneel or stand to perform daily work

Job Description:This position is responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials, components, processes, and equipment to ensure conformance with company and customer quality specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and document QA inspection and testing results to ensure conformance to company and customer quality specifications.
  • Responsible for metrology of parts for determination of acceptance.
  • Perform incoming inspection on components and raw material using gauging, meters and other automated equipment.
  • Participate in problem solving issues related to defective materials and products from manufacturing, processing, engineering, procurement and vendors.
  • Initiate Discrepant Material Reports (DMR’s) and follows through to final disposition.
  • Execute Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) in accordance with quality system documentation change procedures.
  • Program and develop test routines for automated measurement systems.
  • Develop, prepare and conduct new product first article inspections and documentation for engineering approval.
  • Conduct investigations on customer returns and report results to the Quality Engineer.
  • Conduct and participates in quality system internal audits.
  • Perform equipment calibration and maintain appropriate documentation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Working knowledge of testing and metrology equipment including:
    • Optical comparators
    • Force/Tensile testers
    • Pycnometers
    • Optical measurement systems (OGP/MicroVu)
    • Hardness testers
    • Micrometers/Calipers/Dial indicators
    • Gages/Gage Pins
  • Ability to program CMM/optical measurement systems preferred.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Education, Experience & Training:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of two (2) years in metrology disciplines using gauging and measurement instrumentation
    • Preferred Certifications and Trainings:
      • Certified Quality Technician (CQT).
      • Certified Quality Inspector (CQI).
      • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
