As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will be responsible for identifying and developing prospective customers and for their maintenance and support. This includes support and growth of existing ARC accounts. As a BDM at ARC Group you will work collaboratively across the ARC sales, engineering, production, new product development teams and Customer Support groups. This position primarily supports our Firestone, CO facility but also includes our facilities in Florida and Hungary. The position will be located in our Colorado Facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Creating and executing a sales plan that drives against corporate sales objectives.
  • Developing, building and maintaining relationships with potential and existing Aerospace customers, key decision makers and critical customer teams (engineering, purchasing, product management, finance, etc.)
  • Managing a portfolio of existing clients to maintain and grow relationships and expand business opportunities.
  • Targeting new customer opportunities and expanding key vertical industry categories.
  • Securing new project opportunities and receiving confirmed sales orders - Work closely with new product development managers and facilitate communication between customers and ARC teams (program managers, engineers and material experts) to help ensure smooth relationships and program progress.
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled sales meetings and prepare regular sales status reports of ongoing business activities.
  • Works to develop competitive quotes with production, finance and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Customer Support Team to fully support customer programs, purchase orders and unique customer needs/requests.
  • Assists in the development of short and long range sales forecasts.

Job Title: Validation Quality Engineer

SUMMARY

The validation quality engineer role is responsible for facilitating the transition from new product development to production by leading process validation and improvement activities for medical, aerospace and automotive programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist Engineering in New Product Development, process establishment, and process validation/verification by:

  • Leading validation activities including preparing IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports.
  • Working with the metrologist and other quality roles to develop and validate inspection routines for automated test equipment.
  • Performing measurement system analysis (MSA) studies and process capability studies for new part programs.
  • Working with engineering to design functional gaging which meets customer requirements.
  • Assisting and monitors production part quality, work activities, troubleshoot and resolve unusual part quality problems through analytical analysis in a cross-disciplinary approach.
  • Working with Tool Room personnel to implement modifications to tools as necessary to meet print specifications and approve release for production.

Job Title: Production Operator

JOB SUMMARY

This is a position for molding and/or secondary operations. Performs duties required in metal injection molding (MIM) and/or secondary operations. Produces and inspects parts to be shipped to the customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MIM knowledge and skills to perform the tasks required in the production of metal parts.

May visually inspect or use measuring devices to ensure all parts meet customer specifications and quality criteria.

Learns and applies material handling procedures: small hoppers are filled each 40-45 minutes, holding one scoop of material - 4 lb. max; large hoppers are filled up to 4x a shift ( approx. every 2 hrs.); scoops weighing up to 5 lbs. – takes 15 scoops at one time to fill; assistance is available for the large hoppers, if needed.

Learns and applies finishing processes required.

Completes and maintains documentation on parts neatly and accurately.

Follows instructions both written and verbal, asking questions as necessary.

Accurately inputs data and information into computer system.

Utilizes basic mathematical skills to track and record numeric items with accuracy and efficiency.

Cross trains in both molding operations and in secondary in order to perform each job as necessary.

Operates a metal injection molding machine as per established cycles and procedures.

Maintains the mold in a clean and operational condition to ensure quality parts are being produced.

Learns material designation meaning, material handling procedures, and all aspects of the part acceptance and rejection criteria.

Extracts and handles molded parts with precision and care, staging them accordingly.

Records pertinent information regarding parts being produced on required forms.

Visually inspects parts for any defects forwarding them to be reground, scrapped, or shipped to the next production area as appropriate.

This is a skilled position for CNC operations. Performs more advanced duties required for the finishing & machining of metal parts. Summary

This is a highly skilled position that requires a thorough understanding of building and repairing internal mold components with experience in programming strategies and machining processes and approaches within a manufacturing environment.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
  • Manage equipment utilization with Tooling Supervisor.

SUMMARY

This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager – with the primary responsibility of completing assigned experimentation related to Metal Injection Molding and Plastic Injection Molding. Projects will be selected and prioritized based on manufacturing needs, process improvements, cost savings, and overall impact to the business.

EMPLOYMENT TIMING / DURATION
  • This position is intended to occur during the Fall or Spring semester of college academics
  • Fall Co-Op timing is approximately August through December
  • Spring Co-Op timing is approximately January through May

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Monitor and analyze molding process performance for continuous improvement opportunities

Job Summary

This hands-on position is responsible for the coordination, supervision and execution of all maintenance work needed to ensure continuous operation of all electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical and electrical systems within the facility. Responsibilities also include the maintenance of the building and the exterior grounds. This position is responsible to provide leadership to ensure a secure and safe work environment.

Summary:

This position performs accounting and financial reporting functions related to Cash, General Ledger and other functions within Finance as determined by the needs of the department.

Cash

  • Handles all banking related transactions for customer collections, vendor payments and cash reconciliation
  • Provides weekly cash projections for management
General Ledger

  • Performs monthly close process including preparation of journal entries
  • Reconciles balance sheet accounts
  • Creates & compiles financial data for weekly management reports for executive team
  • Assists in preparing monthly financial information
  • Assists in quarterly reporting for consolidation and annual requests for insurance renewal and tax provisions
Policies & Procedures

  • Participates in financial and bank audits
  • Complies with all SOX controls
  • Responsible for update of process narratives annually
  • Responsible for compilation and maintenance of SOPs related to job functions

Job Summary

This position is responsible for performing machine installation, preventive maintenance, and reactive maintenance of machines used in a manufacturing facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs installation, set-up and troubleshooting of new equipment.
  • Performs preventive maintenance including inspecting, greasing, lubing, and part changes as assigned. Completes appropriate maintenance documentation.
  • Responds to daily machine breakdowns and completes necessary repairs to correct problems.
  • Conducts searches for spare machine parts and supplies and reports to maintenance supervisor.
  • Performs service/maintenance on all HVAC, plumbing and electrical functions of the facility as scheduled.
  • Responds and handles emergency maintenance/service issues, which may require after hours, holidays, or week-end responses.
  • Performs general building maintenance including floor stripping/waxing, light bulb changes, painting, and any safety requirements.
  • Follows and adheres to all occupational hazards and safety standards while conducting maintenance work.
  • Assures all safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.

Job Summary

We are seeking out internal candidates who are interested enhancing their skills and cross train in Quality Assurance. This position will be a hybrid Production Operator/Quality Inspector. The selected candidate will continue to work on the Production floor and assume QA duties as needed. The QA Inspector is primarily responsible for inspecting and testing raw materials, components, processes and equipment to ensure conformance with company and customer quality specifications and requirements.

Essential Duties:

  • Performs and documents QA inspection (QP) and testing activities (EE) on final product to ensure conformance to company and customer quality specifications.
  • Responsible for gauging, recording of data and weigh count of the product.
  • Prepares quality documentation, C of C’s and reports.
  • Performs incoming inspection on all raw material using precision gauging, meters and other equipment.
  • Assists in resolving problems related to defective materials and products associated with manufacturing, processing, engineering, procurement and vendors.
  • Initiates Discrepant Material Reports (DMR’s) and follows-up to final disposition.
  • May initiate and follow through with Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) in accordance with quality system documentation change procedures.
  • May assist in conducting new product first article inspections and prepares documentation for engineering approval.
  • Conducts and participates in quality system internal audits of all ISO based processes documented by the company’s quality system.
  • Performs equipment calibration and maintaining appropriate documentation in accordance with quality system procedures.
  • Reads and interprets engineering design drawings.
  • Scans and files documentation.
